VMware Workstation是国外的一款虚拟机类软件，可以在同一台电脑上安装多个系统（Windows、Linux、OS），目前发布了最新的VMware Workstation 11.0版本，随之VMware player也迎来了最新版本。
VMware player相对于VMware Workstation来说精简掉了许多功能，但保留了基本功能，对于普通用户来说这些功能已经够用，此外VMware player体积小巧且完全免费。现在提供最新官方原版下载（多国语言版，含简体中文）：

Known Issues
The following issues might occur in VMware Player 7.1.2.
Using a USB headset with a Windows 8 or later guest operating system does not work
Because most USB headsets expect a USB 2.0 controller, whereas Windows 8 and later guest operating systems use a USB 3.0 controller by default, you cannot use USB headsets with Windows 8 or later guests.
Workaround: Change the USB controller of the guest from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0.
Resolved Issues
The following issues were resolved in VMware Player 7.1.2.
Using audio conferencing software on a Windows 8 guest operating system caused a severe echo during both video and audio calls
When you used audio conferencing software on a Windows 8 guest, participants using the built in speaker, as opposed to headphones, received a severe echo during both video and audio calls.
This issue is resolved.
Could not access Help from Virtual Machine Settings dialog box
You could not access the Help system by clicking Help on the Virtual Machine Settings dialog box.
This issue is resolved.
